Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise.
Because this is a small-group journey with limited availability, payments are used to secure accommodations, transportation, guides, the private dahabiyah sailing experience, and arrangements with our local partners. This policy allows us to protect those commitments while providing as much flexibility as possible for our guests.

Booking Deposit
$1,000 USD deposit per person is required to reserve your place.
- The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The deposit secures your place and allows M&A Egypt Travel to confirm arrangements with our local partners.

Cancellation Timeline
Cancellations must be requested in writing. The date we receive your written notice determines which window applies.
More than 120 days before departure
Before November 11, 2026
Eligible refunds may be provided, less:
- The non-refundable deposit
- Payment processing fees
- Any non-refundable supplier costs
91–120 days before departure
November 12, 2026 – December 11, 2026
50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
60–90 days before departure
December 12, 2026 – January 10, 2027
75% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.
Within 60 days of departure
January 11, 2027 onward
No refunds will be provided.

Transfer Your Booking
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another traveler. We will do our best to assist; however, transfers are subject to approval and availability.
The replacement traveler must:
- Meet participation requirements
- Provide required travel documents
- Accept the Booking Terms & Conditions
- Cover any additional transfer costs

Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance with trip cancellation and interruption coverage is required for all guests. We recommend purchasing insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed.
